At the age of 15 she moved to Toronto, Canada, where she picked up a guitar for the first time and started writing songs. Her influences range from Spanish balads, latin music, to British pop.

Mariana currently working in Mexico, recording new songs for the re-release of her debut album "Hablame", which has been sold out in Venezuela, since its original release in March 2008.
