Marilyn Manson says about the song on June's Revolver issue:
Itβs the song that I 100%, absolutely would never believe a record company would want to release as a single. Half the point of writing it was just to piss them off. Thatβs the type of thing that comes out of my mouth on a regular basis. Some people think I have a chromosome disorder in my brain, so I make up words and phrases that are ridiculous. I say itβs a βsuperhero special feature."
Metal Hammer describes "Arma-goddamn-motherfuckin-geddon" as
having "Heavy basslines, a stomping back-beat and a very traditionally Manson glam-chorus are the order of the day. It's this glam rock tinge that really shines through on the track, nodding to his penchant for decadent 70's rock but with an old school Manson industrial shade.(...) He may not be as dangerous as he once appeared but it is good to hear Mazza using one of those many middle fingers he was born with once again."
Thrash Hits gave the song a positive review, saying "βArma-Goddamn-Motherfucking-Geddonβ rides Ramirezβs rubbery honk of a bassline into a fist-pumping, glam-stomp of a chorus.", and including it as one of the top tracks of the album.
Behind the scene photos of the video being filmed show that the video may be similar to the Antichrist Superstar video/live performances. Showing Manson singing at a podium only instead of the shock symbol it seems to show what resembles a dollar sign. The video was directed by Delaney Bishop. On May 14, the video premiered on NME.com.
On May 28, 2009, the edited version of the video was available for download on iTunes.
In August 2009, the "Director's Cut" version appeared on Delaney Bishop's blog.

All sorts of tax-free face-lift-abortion-nervous-break-dance
Satanic girls gone wild
Truly fuckin' suicidal
First, you try to fuck it.
Then, you try to eat it.
If it hasn't learned your name,
First, you try to fuck it
Then, you try to eat it
If it hasn't learned your name,
You'd better kill it before they see it
It's arma-goddamn-mother-fuckin-geddon
(Fuck! Eat! Kill! Now do it again!)
It's arma-goddamn-mother-fuckin-geddon
(Fuck! Eat! Kill! [etc])
First, you try to fuck it
Then, you try to eat it
If it hasn't learned your name
You'd better kill it before they see it
It's arma-goddamn-mother-fuckin-geddon
I've got a black eye of a soul
My morals in a hole
I wish I was still dead
But the TV said its just a tropical depression
Pointless intervention, legal separation
Call my dealer or my lawyer, "We've got a situation!"
First, you try to fuck it
Then, you try to eat it
If it hasn't learned your name,
You'd better kill it before they see it
First, you try to fuck it
Then, you try to eat it
If it hasn't learned your name,
You'd better kill it before they see it
It's arma-goddamn-mother-fuckin-geddon
(Fuck! Eat! Kill! Now do it again!)
It's arma-goddamn-mother-fuckin-geddon

And fuck making hits, I'm taking credit for the death toll
It's arma-goddamn-mother-fuckin-geddon
It's arma-goddamn-mother-fuckin-geddon
It's arma-goddamn-mother-fuckin-geddon
The lyrics of Marilyn Manson's Arma-Goddamn-Motherfuckin-Geddon are heavily laden with sexual and violent imagery. The repeated refrain of "Fuck! Eat! Kill!" suggests an unhinged, reckless aggression. The lines "Death to the ladies first, then the gentlemen / All sorts of tax-free face-lift-abortion-nervous-break-dance / Satanic girls gone wild / Truly fuckin' suicidal" conjure up a dystopian society where death and destruction are the norm. The song also touches on themes of depression and the numbing effect of the media. Manson's description of his "morals in a hole" and his wish to be dead suggest a sense of hopelessness and alienation. He also hints at the powerlessness of individuals to change larger societal problems, referencing "Pointless intervention, legal separation."
