Quase tudo o que eu sei
Era quase escravidão
Ela me tratava como um Rei
Ela fazia muitos planos
E eu me agarrava a ela
Porque eu não tinha mais ninguém
E eu dizia:
Cedo, cedo, cedo,
E eu dizia ainda é cedo, cedo, cedo
In Marina Lima's song "Ainda é cedo," the lyrics tell the story of a young man who has learned almost everything he knows from a girl who treated him like a king. However, he becomes so wrapped up in his own selfishness that he forgets to help her when she needed it. The girl was lost, and he was the only person she could hold onto, which is why he was also holding onto her. But the young man became afraid of his feelings and the girl's feelings for him, causing them to say things they shouldn't have said. In the end, they decide to take a break from each other, but the young man still insists that it's too early to say goodbye.
The song's lyrics convey the complexity of relationships, and how two people can be so intertwined, yet still not fit together. The girl in the song serves as a mentor and savior for the young man, yet he still can't reciprocate her kindness when she needs it. The chorus "ainda é cedo" translates to "it's still early," which represents the young man's fear of committing and the girl's fear of abandonment. The song ultimately leaves unanswered questions about the future of their relationship, which adds to its emotional depth.

@anacarolinaoliveira6756
