Só Você

Esse sopro sobre à pele, amor
Vem de leve e anuncia
Uma nova melodia
Você veio feito música
Minha própria luz e canção
Numa exata sintonia
Em que capto esta paixão
Só você
Só pra você, amor
Esse sopro, amor
Vai de leve e se insinua
Sob sua pele nua
Eu vivo de música
Só transo luz e canções
Ou no palco ou na rua
Irradio paixões
Só pra você
Só você
In Marina Lima's song "Só Você," the singer expresses her love and admiration for her partner by comparing them to music. The song starts with "Só Você amor, esse sopro sobre a pele, amor," which translates to "Only you, my love, this breath on the skin, love." She compares their love to a new melody that brings a lightness and excitement to her life. Marina continues to describe her partner as if they were a song, saying, "Você veio feito música, minha própria luz e canção," which means "You came like music, my own light and song." She explains how their connection is in exact synchronization, and through this, she captures her passion for them. The chorus repeats "Só pra você, só você" or "Only for you, only you," emphasizing the exclusivity and importance of their love for each other.
Throughout the song, Marina emphasizes her passion for music and how her love for her partner resembles that. The lyrics "Eu vivo de música, só transo luz e canções," or "I live for music, only emitting light and songs" convey the depth of the connection that the singer has with their partner. They're able to express themselves through music, whether it's on stage or in the street. The repetition of "Só pra você" drives home the idea that only this one person makes this kind of connection possible. The song conveys the idea that music and love are two universal languages that allow us to connect with each other.
