Marina Lima Lyrics

The lyrics to Marina Lima's song "Tom maior / Arco de luz" address the complexity of a relationship. The first two lines describe the push and pull of two people who are in the same bed but not touching, unsure of how to act or why they should stay together. The lack of communication is emphasized by the absence of emails or any other form of contact. The singer urges her partner to open up and reveal themselves, to avoid damning the love they share. The chorus offers hope, describing an arc of light that the singer has placed in the sky for her partner. She invites them to explore their shared home and bed, the space that belongs to them and always will. The final lines express the wish that the two can overcome their adversarial tendencies and choose to prioritize their relationship.
