He was brought up by his aunt and uncle in Greece. He studied drama and violin, won opera awards with his voice and took part in many musicals, plays and operas. He combines pop with opera and sings in English,Spanish,Italian,Greek,French and sometimes others.

Ό,τι δηλώσεις είσαι..... Αυτό άρια όπερας δεν ειναι... Επίπεδο κατατακτηρίων. Χαμηλωμα τόνου σε άρια απαγορευεται με πολυ σπανιες εξαιρέσεις. Οσοι καταλαβαινουν απο φωνη, copertura, appoggio, rotondita, sul fiato, passaggi, timbro, colore, repertorio, voce teartale, sostegno, γελάνε με τέτοιου ειδους εκφορά οπερατικης μουσικής. Πολυ καλος τραγουδιστης ο Μαριος αλλα καποιος πρεπει να τον προστατεψει εξηγώντας του οτι δεν ειναι τραγουδιστης για οπερα! Απλα! Δεν ειναι κακό! Ειναι άλλο ειδος. Τενορος ειναι στη χορδή, αλλα οχι στο είδος. "Εκπαιδευει" ο Μαριος αυτια αθώων που νομιζουν οτι ειναι έτσι η οπερα! Ειναι πολυ ασχημο και σιγουρα θα το ξερει.
