Marisela's early career was helped immensely by the famous Mexican TV show of Siempre en Domingo by Raúl Velasco and then later expanding into the United States by the help of many other Spanish broadcasting shows such as Cristina, Don Francisco, Sábado Gigante, and many other televised shows famous in the 80's and 90's. Marisela's first record release was titled Sin El a production of Enrique Elizondo and songs from the now well known Marco Antonio Solís who composed all the songs of her first hit album. Thanks to the wonderful song writer/composer and singer Marco Antonio Solis, who is one of Mexico's greatest music artists of all time, her romantic CD was an instant hit. "La Pareja Ideal" a duet between Marisela and Marco Antonio Solis is one of her most memorable songs, being promoted while the two were actually dating.
The romance ended of course because of the love triangle between Marisela, Marco Antonio Solis and Beatriz Adrianna who was also a beautiful rising artist whose album Marco Antonio Solis was promoting.
Marisela is one of very few singers who have managed to survive in the music business only by playing concerts in Mexican venues known as palenques.
Marisela has continued recording great hit songs like, "Completamente Tuya", "Enamorada y Herida", "Sola con mi Soledad", "Ya No", "El Chico Aquel", "Mi Problema" and many more.
In 2007, Marisela released a compilation of greatest hits entitled Noches Eternas with a Mariachi sound to it. She is preparing to release the most waited for production of No Soy Una Mentirosa this year.
Marisela is one of the artists that will always remain a favorite in the hearts of her audience. Now in the heart of a new generation to come that is through their ancestors listening to her songs and becoming fans of her all over again. She is now known as "La Dama de Hierro." To date, Marisela has recorded 14 albums.

Vete con ella pues
Y no
Me digas nada
Te ahorras las palabras
Ya lo dice tu mirada
Pues yo nunca, pude darte...
Esa felicidad que encontraste
En otra parte
Te amo tanto que te entrego hoy
Mi vida, por tu vida...
Si conmigo no eres feliz
No detengo, tu partida...
Me veo tan digerente
Me haces falta tu
Si no te ubieras ido seria tan fe... li.z
No hay nada mas dificil que vivir sin ti...
Sufriendo en la espera de verte llegar
El frio de mi cuerpo pregunta por ti
Y no se donde esta... s
Si no te hubieras ido
Fuera tan fe... li... z
Todavía, no lo e podido olvidar
Me es inútil no lo puedo ocultar
Fui muy mala al alejarlo de mi
Su mirada empañada
Preguntaba por que fue haci
Hoy comprendo
De que todo lo perdí
Y es no puedo olvidarlo no...
Cuanto lo quiero
Sufro y me muero por verlo una vez mas
Y es que no puedo olvidarlo no... mi pensamiento
Me dice que es tarde ya, para olvidar...
"Medley" is a song by Mexican-American singer Marisela. The song is a collection of three different songs: "Vete con Ella," "No Hay Nada Más Difícil," and "A Cambio de Qué." In "Vete con Ella," Marisela tells her lover to leave her and go be with someone else. She can tell by his eyes that he's already made up his mind, though it still makes her sad. She loves him so much that she's willing to let him go, as long as he's happy with the other person. She doesn't want him to suffer like she has because they couldn't be together.
In the second part of the song, "No Hay Nada Más Difícil," Marisela talks about how difficult it is to live without her lover. She wakes up and thinks about him every day, and the world seems empty without him. Even though life goes on, it's not the same without him. The loneliness is a physical thing that she feels all over her body. She wonders where he is and wishes he hadn't gone.
Finally, in "A Cambio de Qué," Marisela laments how she drove her lover away. She realizes now that she was wrong to push him away, and her heart is filled with regret. She misses him terribly and wishes she could see him again, but knows it's too late. She wonders why she was so foolish as to let him slip away.
