Tenk deg godt om før du gjør no å før du gjør no
Ver sikker på deg sjæl
Ikke tru et ord.
D Er altfor lett å prate
Å si ting man ikke mener
Gode miner til slett spill

(Vers x 4)
Marius Müller's song "Ikke Tru Et Ord" is a cautionary tale about not believing everything you hear, particularly when it comes to romantic relationships. The lyrics warn against blindly trusting someone's words, as they may not always be truthful or genuine. The singer advises the listener to think carefully before acting, and to be sure of their own feelings before making any decisions. The phrase "Ikke tru et ord" ("Don't believe a word") is repeated throughout the song, emphasizing the importance of skepticism and critical thinking.
The song's melody is gentle and subdued, with a simple yet emotive guitar riff. The solo in the middle of the song is particularly effective in conveying a sense of uncertainty and ambiguity, with its wavering notes and slight discordances. The overall mood of the song is melancholy and reflective, with Müller's plaintive voice providing a sense of emotional depth and sincerity.
Overall, "Ikke Tru Et Ord" is a thoughtful and poignant song about the complexities of human relationships and the need for caution when it comes to matters of the heart.
