3. War for the Planet of the Apes (I was disappointed because it had no war, only prison break...)
2. Pirates of the Caribbean - Dead Men Tell No Tales (disappointing... --Johnny Depp wasn't the only problem with the movie...)
1. Justice League (very disappointing)

Generally, I have a high tolerance level for movies, because these days I go in with minimal expectations, and really enjoy just sitting in a large dark space watching flickering lights. I try and find the good in a film, no matter how bad, even if that means a great opening credit sequence, camera work, whatever. That said, watching Kingsman made me angry throughout. That's never good.

Love you guys, and I like the whole group saying their worst movies rather than the individual list videos you guys are doing. I like the casual format you got going a lot, but the camera is a bit too shaky sometimes. I say keep this format, do it some more, but please buy a nice stabilizer rig for the cameraman if you are going handheld. Sometimes it was pretty damn shaky and it would’ve been even better if it was as stable as, say, The Office. At 3:20, Rocha is the perfect example. If the camera was a bit more steady, the zoom into Rocha would’ve worked even better. But, I want more! This was more fun than the straight sit down and talk to the camera, it had more energy. Happy New Year, guys!

The angriest I left the theater this year was after the movie Life. It had such a good cast, there was real potential for a great sci-fi thriller there. But it was just BAD.

Killing of a Sacred Deer was by far my least favorite movie of the year. I tend to avoid movies I know are going to be shitty so I didn't watch any of the ones listed here (except Kingsman 2 which is in no way that bad, just no where near as good as the first). But I went into Killing of a Sacred Deer expecting it to be amazing and intense, and I hated every freaking second of it.

I actually liked The Golden Circle, but I know I'm in the extreme minority with that. I also know I'm in the minority when it comes to Blade Runner 2049. I thought it was beautiful, but drawn out and boooring. It did have its moments, though.

I liked King Arthur as a sword and sorcery tale, not the best adaptation of the Arthurian legend for sure. Also, I didn't think Golden Circle was as bad as Schnepp does, it didn't live up to the first one but that's a tough target to hit.

Worst movie of 2017? That I've seen, because I haven't seen a lot, is Underworld: Blood Wars. Just godawful. And I LIKED the first two!

Worst movie of the year is definitely Resident Evil The Final Chapter. It's just the worst. It doesn't even follow the canon set up by the previous movies. It just makes stuff up as it goes along. I was seeing red after I saw that movie. The fact that a stuntwoman lost an arm over that thing called a movie just makes me feel sick.

Yes random "How Dare You" woman. Preach, tell the outlaw off, and lay down the new law. The Jude and the Hunnam! The Sword from the stone! The Guy and the Ritchie! This movie is by no means on my best of the year, but damnit I love it.

Its a movie that takes place in space.

Am not a big movie guy, so I have not watched alot of movies, but for people who wanna argue. Hey, If Mark Ellis can have Alien Covenant as his worst movie, I think its fine, if I have TLJ as my worst movie:)

Transformers is up there for sure, Mother was gah-bage, Baywatch trash, Passengers for me was meh but I am not a Jennifer Lawrence fan, X-Men: Apocalypse wasn't good either. (Maybe was 2016 lol I dunno. Still sucked.)

King Arthur and The Mummy were poorly conceived but at least somewhat competently executed on most levels.

Transformers: The Last Knight, on the other hand, was perhaps the first time I've ever seen Michael Bay just obviously not give a fuck. As terrible as most of the Transformers movies have been, Michael Bay has at least shown himself to be a technically proficient filmmaker who is in desperate need of a filter. No matter how bad they were, you really couldn't say it was due to him being lazy. This time around, though, he just showed up to punch the clock and get his paycheck.

Then, of course, there was A Madea Halloween 2 which was truly the worst mainstream release of the year by any and all objective standards. However, it still didn't piss me off as much as Transformers.

On a side note, I nominate The Circle as 2017's best bad movie.

Robbie Spence I have a 5 year old son... and he can't go to the movie alone, so... that's why. And there were very few good kids movies this year; I can think of Two: Coco and Lego Batman. Otherwise you have emojis, my little pony, captain underpants, smurfs 3, cars 3, despicable me 3, boss baby, Lego Ninjago... now granted, there are varying degrees of bad here (i wound actually recommend Ninjago or despicable me 3 for kids), but GOOD they are not.

I think the worst movie I saw in 2017 was Sleepless. It was just such a cliched kidnapping story with a the forced twist which usually comes with these movies. Also the writing was so bad. It had swearing just for the sake of swearing, like one of the scripts that thinks it’s so cool because it’s main character said ‘mother fucker’ about 100 times in the first 10 minutes or so. There’s also the scene where Jamie Foxx interrogates the female cop in a hotel I think and the script way too hard to make both characters seem cool. It was so cringeworthy.

Stop belittling A Dogs Purpose. TMZ ran a hoax trying to kill the movie's box office chances. The Mummy is the worst movie of 2017 for me. King Arthur at least nailed the feeling that the whole town is genuinely inhabited, how many movies can say that? Ghost in the shell at least has that OUT OF THIS WORLD scoring, even though the movie doesn't deserve it.
