The Real Thing
Mark Slaughter Lyrics

(Mark Slaughter, John Goodwin)
There's a way to know if it's really love
And not just something your mind made up
Cause you want to believe that you're not alone
When your heart's on the line
These are some of the signs
Ice can't chill it, and a rich man can't earn it
When it's strong you can't break it
Give it up or forsake it
That's how you know it's the real thing
Ooh it's the real thing baby, just like you and me
Some people search, what seems like forever
If they don't give up, they may find it one day
Just like us, they'll end up together
When your heart's on the line
These are some of the signs
(NASHVEGAS MUSIC, QUEENS KNIGHT MUSIC)
