1) Maro is an artistic name of Mariana Secca, a 27 year old multi-instrumentist and composer from Lisbon, Portugal. In 2018, she released her first solo album, in 3 volumes: Maro, Vol. 1, Maro, Vol. 2, and Maro, Vol. 3. All songs are organized chronologically and are sung in Portuguese and English. Maro started studying classic piano at the age of 4, later completing the Conservatory Diploma at the age of 17, along with her High School Diploma.At 11, Maro wrote her first song. At 12, she started playing the guitar as an autodidact, today a key instrument in her composing process. Later, her voice and the electric bass also became important in Maro's musical activity.
In 2022 Maro released her latest album Can You See Me?.
2) Marwan Daou (born August 2, 2000), better known as Maro, is a Ukrainian-Lebanese singer-songwriter and YouTuber from Beirut. He started his musical career posting cover videos on his YouTube channel in 2015, and gained a following in 2018. In 2019, Maro caught the attention of tech-music label SNAFU Records, which led to him signing a deal as an original pop artist. Maro's debut single "Carsick" was produced by Carl Falk and Albin Nedler, and released in August 2020, followed by "Take It Back", released in January 2021

Maro’s song “Can’t Stop” is a captivating love song that expresses the deep emotions that come with being in love. The song starts off with the artist describing how all it takes is a simple look or smile from his lover to know that she is the one for him. He then goes on to express how she makes him feel crazy with all the things she does, causing him to lose control of his own body. This is a clear indication of how deeply he is in love with her.
Maro then describes how he feels every time he kisses her. It makes him feel numb and even just one night with her takes away all sense of time. It is interesting how he confesses that he cannot adequately explain his deep love for her, but he knows for a fact that he is crazy about her. This reflects how sometimes we can’t put into words the depths of our feelings and emotions for someone.
In the chorus, Maro confesses that he can’t stop calling her name. This is an interesting line because it shows how he is constantly thinking of her, no matter what he is doing. He then goes ahead to say how he has a sixth sense when it comes to her, which is an indication of just how aware he is of her presence and how she makes him feel. The song is a beautiful expression of true love and the lengths to which we go when we are in love.
