Highway to Hell
Maroon 5 Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Living easy, livin' free
Season ticket, on a one - way ride
Asking nothing, leave me be
Taking everything in my stride
Don't need reason, don't need rhyme
Ain't nothing I would rather do
Going down, party time
My friends are gonna be there too

I'm on the highway to hell
Highway to hell
I'm on the highway to hell
Highway to hell

No stop signs, speedin' limit
Nobody's gonna slow me down
Like a wheel, gonna spin it
Nobody's gonna mess me 'round
Hey Satan! Paid my dues
Playin' in a rockin' band
Hey Mama! Look at me
I'm on my way to the promise land

I'm on the highway to hell
Highway to hell
I'm on the highway to hell
Highway to hell

Dont stop me!

I'm on the highway to hell!
I'm on the highway to hell!
I'm on the highway to hell!
I'm on the highway to hell!

And I'm goin down..all the way!
I'm on the highway to hell..

Holy! Ryan's got a really heavy, awesome rock voice! He's so good. It's too bad that he had to quit...

marooner222

Who knew Ryan Dusick was hiding such an amazing voice behind those drums? C:

Ya Boi

What happened to this band? They went from using actual guitars and actual drums. Now, they use machines.

Garret Nadeau

I realise I'm a bit late to the party...
But I'm glad I ain't the only one who thinks this. I often wondered if Ryan's departure made a difference, but as someone previously said "it's called selling out".

Rohan Poddar

Capitalism happened to them.

@theremagLOL Me too.

This was a pretty damn good cover. Ryan does a really really good vocal impression. All you haters out there simply don't like the fact that Maroon 5 can perform a song that's completely unlike their genre. Props where props are due. Better than Avril Lavigne's attempt at Chop Suey. *shudders*

Simto

Maroon 5 kick ass period. I'm pretty sure they can most most of the naysayers ass when it comes to rocking out. Just go to their live shows and see. They're a live band and they made their way to their success the old school way, by playing their way to it.
