Myself
Maroon 5 Lyrics

I have told
All of my enemies
Very politely
To go home.
I have seen
All of your remedies
Now won't you let me please go home.

I can't find anything to be sad about.
They say I'm doomed but I feel fine.

I have tried
So very hard as hell
To stay away from hell
And live upstairs.
When I see
All of your remedies
I try quite desperately to go home.

I can't find anything to be sad about.
They say I'm doomed but I feel fine.
But if I'm sitting here lonely,
With no one to hold me,
At least I'll have my health.
I'm tryin to control myself.

I have told
All of my enemies
Very politely
To go home.
I have seen
All of your remedies
now won't you let me please go home.

I've been acting irresponsibly
Oh what could possibly go wrong.
I have choked on all your remedies
Now won't you let me please go home.

But if I'm sitting here lonely,
With no one to hold me,
At least I'll have my health
I'm trying to control myself.
I'm trying to control myself.

someone should sing this at the blind auditions :´D. Adam would be so freaking amazed...

Sam Valladares

That would be epic!

Tori Spera

I think it would be really cool if Maroon 5 made another album that reflects the sound of Kara's Flowers, but like, improved on whatever aspect they think would be suitable.

Tori Spera

@Sam McG I think Songs About Jane has a different sound though. I get the similarities, but that album was also a created a long time ago. I meant that I want to hear how they would interpret the sound into music today. Their sound has changed a lot.

Sam McG

Tori Spera basically Songs About Jane

Thomas Giles

That was amazing! Pre-Maroon-5 Maroon 5, anyone? Like a more punky, rocky version of M5. Nice.

prafulla ghildiyal

i come back for this and Songs about Jane.... this was so much better than Adam Levine and the band

cookiefonster

think of it this way: if maroon 5 didnt become so famous now, then their older work wouldve been even more obscure

Christian Noonan

Thomas Giles so underrated... ironic because it's maroon 5 sort of...

Sounds like Weezer. If they played this song on radio, the first thing that would come into my would been Weezer or Green Day.
