I feel like there will never be another person like Bill Withers. The world has lost a legend that we can never get back. I really appreciate the simple approach they took to this song. I was expecting over the top production that’s usually characteristic of a pop group like them, and was honestly dreading what they might do this song. Wow did they do great cover of it though. I’ve never been a fan of Maroon 5, but I definitely respect them now.
