I desire to eliminate uncertainty and doubt in my life.

The space explorer who embarks on cosmic travels.

Take photographs and tape recordings
Capture the sights and sounds of space exploration for further study.

Play them back and try to find
Analyze the recordings and photographs to gain understanding of the cosmos.

If there is life on other worlds
Consider whether other forms of life may exist beyond earth.

And do they have a message
Wonder what other life may want to communicate to earth.

If I climbed higher than the sun
If I went beyond the limits of what seems possible.

Looked into the universe
Observed the cosmos and its contents.

Back on Earth, I'd never speak
If I had such an experience, I would be too awed and speechless to describe it.

Just smile at everyone
Thus, I would simply show my contentment with a smile.

Popping pills just gets you busted
Abusing drugs will eventually result in harm or punishment.

And the prophets were unwise
Sometimes, even those who are considered wise can be wrong.

A beautiful thing has fallen through
Something precious has been lost or failed to materialize.

With cancer, death and poverty
The world is filled with suffering and misfortune.

Who's the sanest of us all?
Who is the most rational and stable among us humans?

Is he with me or one of them?
Is sanity aligned with my beliefs, or those of other people?

How does he dress, who are his friends?
What is the appearance and social circle of someone who is considered sane?

Can I have my vision back?
Can I regain my sense of purpose and direction in life?

I live outside the city walls
I do not conform to the norms and expectations of society.

You don't have to be afraid of me
Do not fear my differences or my unconventional behavior.

Until I come together
Until I figure things out or find my place in the world.

Mama's home philosophy
My mother's personal beliefs and values.

Makes everyone a freak but me
My mother considers everyone else odd or unconventional except me.

My mother tells me that my grandmother dislikes me.

I cannot explore every possible way of life.

So which one am I gonna choose
I must decide which path to follow in life.

I do not desire to miss out on life's adventures and opportunities.

The promise of adventure
The potential for excitement and exploration in life.

The funeral procession passes

I am a young adult in my prime years.

People expect great things of me
There are high hopes and expectations of my future success.

The man of the year whose time has come
I am the one expected to make a significant impact on the world in the near future.

A moment's happiness in life
A brief period of joy in one's existence.

The happiness fades away quickly.

The lover that I had last week
The romantic partner I was with recently.

Has kicked me out the door
We have separated, and I am left without companionship.

Can't build a future in my head
I cannot plan for the future without a sense of purpose or direction.

Planning must be grounded in reality to be achievable.
