¿Cómo? ¿Quién?
Here we are searching a killer,
Bewildered.
I feel I cannot live without you,
Or should I say?
Without me you're not gonna live.
¿Por qué? ¿Qué? ¿Cuándo?
¿Cómo? ¿Quién?
There's no shame in my agression,
The question.
I need to know everything about you.
You're my obsession.
Surrounding everything you do
Who is your lover?
When do you sleep?
What are the secrets you keep?
Obsession (love),
Obsession!
¿Por qué? ¿Qué? ¿Cuándo?
¿Cómo? ¿Quién?
Locked inside your private life.
Try to hide,
But you will always be with me.
Always and forever.
Till eternity
Who is your lover?
When do you sleep?
What are the secrets you keep?
Obsession (love),
Obsession!
¿Por qué? ¿Qué? ¿Cuándo?
¿Cómo? ¿Quién?
Love
Burning love
Obsession, confession, obsession!
Making love
Obsession, confession, obsession!
The song "Obsession" by Marta Sánchez is an ode to the depth and intensity of obsession. The lyrics present a person who is obsessively in love with someone else, to the point of needing to know everything about them, even to the extent of questioning their most basic actions and secrets. The singer's obsession goes beyond conventional love and turns into an aggressive and all-consuming force. The lyrics also suggest that the object of this obsession cannot live without the singer, subtly hinting at an element of possessiveness and control.
The repetition of the phrases "¿Por qué? ¿Qué? ¿Cuándo? ¿Cómo? ¿Quién?" (Why? What? When? How? Who?) throughout the song emphasizes the all-encompassing nature of the singer's obsession. The song also includes the refrain "Obsession, confession, obsession!" which emphasizes the cyclical nature of obsession and the difficulty of breaking free from its grip.
Overall, the song portrays obsession as a powerful and potentially dangerous force, but also as an intense manifestation of love.
