A great song , reminds me of th "Broken Wheel" at Retford, Notts. in 1969/1970. Never saw Martha and tandellas,but Marv Johnson appeared at the "Wheel" in 1970. Great times with great friends.

Specially nowadays where ANYTHING and EVERYTHING goes in such filthy and degrading scenarios that the media glorifies...a line that speaks of chastity (instead of the disgusting promiscuity that is encouraged and accepted by the world of entertainment) this line literally brings tears to my eyes.

I was wondering why I couldn't find this on Martha & the Vandellas list of hit singles - I couldn't believe it was never a hit, so the fact that it was a B-side would explain it. I still think it should have been the A-side though; this song is better than "Jimmy Mack".
