Bachelier, boursier multiple des conseils des arts et boursier d’excellence en composition musicale (FCAR);
stagiaire à Sienne en composition de musique de film avec M. Ennio Morricone (Il était une fois dans l’ouest);
après avoir obtenu 3 nominations au Gala de l’ADISQ en 1999 pour le groupe ANN VICTOR, c’est en août 2003 que Martin Léon lance un premier album solo : Kiki BBQ. Critique unanime. Le projet obtient 4 nominations au Gala de l’ADISQ en 2003;

The song "All In" by Martin Léon is a story of two contrasting characters, Maria and Mario, and their love story. The lyrics describe Maria and Mario as a perfect match, just like coconuts and palm trees on the shores of eternal summers. The warm wind unites them, and they possess a few pearls each. The chorus talks about how both Maria and the singer are all in for business and committed to the relationship. Maria is beautiful and sensuous, but also sharp and can be stern when needed. She used to sing the refrain to motivate sailors and help them sail on the boats. Mario, on the other hand, is a millionaire, but he does not have the same business sense as Maria. Instead, he prefers vacationing and traveling. When he arrived at the port, he checked his gold watch while singing flirtatiously.
