Martin Solveig Lyrics

Linda, Linda
Linda, oh c'est chaud Linda (x2)

Linda, Linda, Linda, Linda (x2)

Linda, Linda
Linda, oh c'est chaud Linda
Linda, Linda
Linda, oh c'est chaud Linda

Linda, Linda, Linda, Linda
Linda, Linda, Linda, Linda

Je pense à toi, Linda
Quand tu n'es pas là, Linda
Je ne le dis pas, Linda
Moi je suis comme ça, Linda

Je préfère rester sur me gardes
Lorsque je te regarde

Je suis décontenancé
Décontenancé
Mal embarqué (x2)
Déboussolé (x2)
Emoustillé (x2)

Quelle attitude adopter
Pour éveiller
Ton intérêt, ton regard avisé
Tes sens affutés, affutés
Tes mouvements calculés, calculés
Tes pulsions élancées, élancées
Ta douceur pimentée, pimentée
Ta fraîcheur vanillée, vanillée
Tes baisers sucrés, sucrés
Ton extrêzme habileté, habileté
A tout manigancer, manigancer

Je dois m'en protéger
M'en dégager
Pour éviter, éviter
De rester collé, collé
Ici bas à tes pieds, à tes pieds
Il faut t'oublier, t'oublier
Je dois t'oublier

T'oublier, t'oublier, t'oublier, t'oublier, t'oublier,
t'oublier, t'oublier, t'oublier, t'oublier, t'oublier...

Overall Meaning

The song Linda by Martin Solveig appears to be a playful and upbeat tune, but upon closer examination, the lyrics tell a different story. The repeated use of Linda's name is not just a catchy repetition, but a homage to a woman who has captured the singer's affections. The lyrics depict Martin Solveig's inner turmoil as he grapples with his feelings for Linda. He confesses that he thinks about her when she is not around and feels unsure of how to act when he sees her. He acknowledges that he must guard himself when he looks at her because he is easily distracted and attracted to her.

As the song progresses, the tone becomes more desperate as the singer realizes that he must forget about Linda, despite his strong feelings for her. He acknowledges that he must protect himself from her allure because he cannot afford to become too enamored with her. The lyrics paint a picture of an intense attraction between two people, but also the realization that sometimes, it's better to keep a safe distance rather than to risk getting too close.

Overall, the song Linda by Martin Solveig is a beautiful nod to the complexity of human emotion, particularly when it comes to love and infatuation. It captures the excitement and uncertainty of feeling drawn to someone while also acknowledging the tough decisions that sometimes come with that attraction.
