She said 'there's not enough dance in the week
Wouldn't you say?
If I had my way'
She says 'It'd be Friday
And we'd stay and dance til after the band pack the stuff away.'
And oh yea,
Wish I danced like you girl
I dance like I had nothing to worry about
'Cept the rock and roll
And yea, oh yea
Look ain't she cool
Oh I'm a right fool
I spill my guts like she cares what I'm going through
And I'm sure she don't like me
Yea but really how could she?
I live by dirby
I come from the country
And I'm a nobody
An yeah oh yeah
Claudia
Wish I was cool as you girl
Oh, wish I had nothing better to worry about
'Cept the rock and roll
And one day I'll just as wild
If she's no shame then why should I
Claudia
Wish I was just like you.
And she got it all man
She got everything.
Wish I was half as glamorous and out of hand
So help me Claudia
Be more just like ya.
Cause I'm scared stiff
Scared have to death
Oh help me shake this pettiness
Wow, oh
Claudia
Wish I was just like you girl
Wish I had nothing better to worry
Oh Claudia
There's no one quite like you girl
Don't you have something better to worry about
'Cept the rock and roll
