1. Rapper and song writer Marvelous was born as Leo Marines in Queens, New York, on July 2nd 1991. Formerly known as ImmI he has been rising steadily as an unsigned hype after releasing his first single, “Looking at me”. Being a child of the 90’s, he’s always been attracted to the Hip-Hop culture, being influenced by Emcees such as Biggie Smalls, Jay Z, Nas, Lil Wayne, and Eminem. His talent for weaving words came to surface at the age of eleven, winning him several awards for poetry and creative writing throughout his academic career.

His later release of "Letterman", in 2016 on popular mediums such iTunes, Spotify, Google Play, Amazon Music and introduced him to new fans of all ages.

His following has gained tremendous momentum throughout the world of social media with over 30 thousand followers on twitter, and an Instagram presence that has made him a social commodity.

His summer performance tour in 2017, included performances and stage appearances at South by South-West Music Festival (SXSW) in Austin, Texas, with his debut single "Bet on Your Life".

Shutting down stages from New York City, Texas, Vermont, and Boston all the way to the Dominican Republic, Marvelous was soon recognized by his unique flow, free styling ability, and memorable ad-libs. Soon on his way to success, he continues to conquer and devour every obstacle in his way.

2. Marvelous is an American rapper from Ft. Lauderdale, FL. He first began rapping after he met his friend WhiteOut in high school in Pembroke Pines, FL. He then recorded many tracks with WhiteOut and their crew The Fantastik 4, which also included Holladay and A-Boy, who all went to high school together. Marvelous contributed to many tracks on WhiteOut's album "DUI: Drinking Under the Influence" and "We Grindin Mixtape Vol. 1." He then went on to make mixtapes with Holladay (under the aliases Gunz and Killin.) Marvelous' solo album "Red Book Dayz" is currently in the making. He also plans to record an album with SiNister (CA producer who works with WhiteOut.)

3. The other Marvelous is a rapper from the UK, whose DopeBoy Fresh Mixtape was released in 2008, with an album to follow in 2009.

When Disney Plus came out this was the first film I watched. Despite all of the cliches and bad writing, I still loved this movie as a kid and still love it today.

Same, being grown now, it’s easy to understand where the Dad is coming from. Least he’s more mellowed out in the sequel. One wishes the Headmaster would have given the lead bully the talk about uniforms before expelling him.

After watching the film yesterday on Dinsey plus the way i saw the Principle was a message and a warning to what Johnny father pete would've become had he push johnny grandfather away only to see his mistakes well the principle disliked Johnny and saw him as a problem something Johnny father did but later fixed things with the grandfather well the Principle never fixed things in anyway

Weird thing is that there are STILL ski mountains that ban snowboarding for one reason or another. They may exaggerate it in this movie, pretty much the same as most comedy ski movies, but its actually not as uncommon as you think.

I remember watching it as a kid, so I turned it on recently, and I absolutely love the Grandpa, as well as his relationship with his son and grandson. It felt very genuine.

He had a lot of potential! I remembered him from both Jett Jackson and this movie... He was likable,had a great charisma....He was on Rizzoli and Isles!

Watched this recently, and my wife and I were surprised at how relevant it was to the current moment. The classism, the veiled racism, the division in towns and families. While cliche, it very much touches on real issues and left more of an impact on me now than when I passively saw it on cable all those years ago.

I was excited to hear what he had to say about this one. I loved it as a kid and watched it every time it came on! And he’s right! Even back then I could tell everyone was acting their hearts out because it felt real. They were all like able people! Yes it’s cliched but there are some cliches you can get past if you like the characters.

I love this movie. Watched it every time it was on Disney Channel (sadly never got the dvd) and it’s one of the reasons why I wanted to snowboard. I also related to Johnny as I dealt with two moves (the second being in the same state) that had me switching schools while the second one was about two months into the school year and since not all schools are the same this resulted in a lot of changes I had to adjust to. As such fitting in wasn’t easy and I also dealt with some bad bullying that makes what Johnny go through look tame. Heck it was tame as he didn’t have to deal with some jerk that almost sent him to the hospital by slamming his locker door on him, almost hitting his fingers. Yeah I’m not joking. Some idiot thought it was “funny” to try to slam my locker door on my fingers. I stopped using a locker as a result of that. But yeah I get how Johnny feels and I think that connection is why I like the movie so much. Or a reason why at least.

Not only did they get Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa in this film, but they also got Yuji Okumoto as the father who is also known for playing the villain in films. One of his most notable is as Chozen Toguchi in The Karate Kid Part 2, which he'll reprise in Season 3 of Cobra Kai.

All I have to say as a former snowboarder is that yes, snowboarder/skier feuds do actually exist. It's not nearly as common anymore but it is still real. I still remember a time when I was just sitting on the mountain taking a break ( it's both expected and very common, people are supposed to go around you) and a skier slammed into the edge of my board hard enough to spin me 90° and slide me 8 feet down the mountain and they just kept going. I was mildly hurt (lightly twisted ankle and sore neck from the whiplash) but not enough to call for rescue. Thankfully my board wasn't damaged though that was still the end of my trip... The worst thing is that theres nothing you can do about it. Sure you can report the person but even if you say " it was the guy in a purple suit with black and white skiis" there are 50 other people fitting that description spread out for miles around the mountain or packed in the resorts and lodges. Even if witnesses stick around and try to help you will never get justice for assault that happens on the mountain

The first time I ever saw Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa was when he played a good guy. He played a cop in the first season of the 90's show Nash Bridges. Also Yuji Okumoto who plays the dad also played Chozen in Karate Kid part 2.

i love this movie, disney channel movies aren't the same anymore, i can't imagine how much smart phone bullshit is in them now. and i love airbourne too, you don't see rollerbladers as anymore, not even with the younger people these days, they are on their stupid phone most of the time. i watched this show called kids react, and they didn't know what a skip it was lol like for real. they didn't know what a walkman was. these times are so sad to me. i'm glad i was born in a time with my childhood was movies like johnny tsuami. yeah i like a few things from this time including some good video games but for the most part i'm glad i was an 80'os child.

A cliché storyline is only a problem if that's all a film has to offer, which is thankfully not the case here. Strong characters and setting make the fact the plot is predictable pretty much a non factor to me. Awesome movie!

I think you mean Tagawa played Johnny Tsunami (the grandfather) who is 9 years older than Yuji Okumoto (Pete, the father). The actor who played the younger Johnny is a proper ~generation younger than Okumoto.

That one had a surprising subplot about steroid allegations that was never resolved, and very different from DCOMs done since HSM pretty much. I wouldn’t mind a Disneycember about it. If the DCOMs took a break from doing musicals and revisited the types of movies they did twenty years ago I think older fans of those would tune in.

I miss OG Disney Channel films; even when they were silly and cliche, they had a lot of heart. And while plenty of them were "new kid uses special skill to fit in" storylines, there was a lot more variety than today, when it's all "singing", "starting a band", or "dancing". (Half-leprechaun playing basketball, anyone?) And when it was a band/dancing, it focused more on the story than the romance, like "Gotta Kick it Up". And I miss the really wacky, creative plots like "Zenon", "Smart House", or "The Thirteenth Year".

Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa doesn't ALWAYS play a villain, he was in the James Bond movie License To Kill and he didn't play a villain in that either. Although, at first you think his character is working with the main villain, but then you find out he's just a plant.

When I was supposed to be watching these, like when I was under 13, I never did. They came our years before I started watching Disney Channel( I was 13 in 2010), I ironically never watched these late 90’s -2000’s DCOMs. But as I get into college, I almost crave the simple stories? It could be that I’m going to school for Music Education and I have academia “ high art” drilled into my head, and I like the snack food/ guilty pleasure of the simpler stores these things have compared to Wagner’s Ring Cycle( bonus if you know what that is).

My favorites are everything and up to the original High School Musical. After that it got just weird and pandering to the audience, trying to “ get down with the kids “ with smart phone/app centered movies. *que the “ hello my fellow kids” meme.

I put them in every couple months cause it’s a good nostalgic escape.
