The songs full title is "Waiting for you- Live at Heavens Night'" Now for those who haven't played Silent Hill 2 'Heaven's Night' is the strip club Maria works at. So the reason for the cheering is that it's meant to be immersive as in you at Heaven's Night listening to Maria and her singing. @lucassinclair8885 Because the original voice actor for James made a big stink about "owed" royalties, when actually he wasn't entitled to anything. Voice acting in Japan is a one and done. Maybe you heard about Bayonetta's original voice actor raising similar hell a year or so ago, similar situation. And hey maybe voice actors should get residuals, but I don't know if publicly trying to make a scandal about it is the right way to change things.

But the chorus it’s pretty straightforward and it’s about Eileen waiting for Henry to finally come back from his apartment. Every silent hill game I played until now I could not finish, but the music... the music and the ambiance are the best part of the games, and perhaps the story too, I'm sure of that. But the gameplay mechanics suck. Are tedious and boring; lost in a fog or in the dark finding locked doors looking for keys, I think the greatness of the soundtracks far exceeds the greatness of the games. At least in terms of gameplay

I think enough time has passed to say that SH4 TR deserves to hailed as the last Great Silent Hill game before thing swent out of hand. Yes Origins is ok and Shattered Memories was a cool reimagining of the first game, but this was Team Silent's Swan Song to the franchise before being disbanded from doing future games in the series and the creepy aura and story found in the game is intense and dark just like the 3 games before it. As well as having a spine-tingling killer soundtrack!

Downpour was on the right track. But the franchise just needs to rest. No remakes, no sequels, just a peaceful existence in the annals in gaming history.

Glad Akira is still working though. His music helped make the franchise what it was.

Silent Hill 4 was by far my favorite. I had the game as a child but my family member broke it. The story was absolutely captivating. And this song is amazing gives me chills. we can all agree that silent Hill 2,3, and 4 were amazing 🥺💔

A lot of people hate on SH4 and while I agree that its not that great I still had a great time with it. Its been years and years but I still remember playing it late night, and getting actually oppressed by the atmosphere. It might not have been the Silent Hill I know and love but it was still an amazing horror game!
