Once Upon a Time
Mary Wells feat. Marvin Gaye Lyrics
Once upon a time I almost lost my mind
I was lonely, so lonely
Once upon a time
Hoping every day things would go my way
Then you came into my life
Now everything is fine
I never knew what love could do till I met you
Now everything is oh so cozy
Now my skies are blue all because of you
I'm so glad; I was lonely

Two great talents who we still miss to this very day - Marvin Gaye & Mary Wells. What power they had in their songs, & this gem is proof. ๐๐

I love this song, was not born when it was released. It's what you hope you can sing to yourself one day. I used to play it for God (felt empty and alone until I found a way to connect with the Creator).
