This movie is the only place I ever heard this piece played, but it resonated with me so much that I started thinking how well it would go with other funeral scenes in movies. It's so powerful and the sadness behind it is so pronounced. Beautiful.

It was very moving in the film.
I loved that Film for imparting the way of life of a Sailor 200 years ago. It told the story and built the characters at the same time, ALL the deaths were moving and tragic (for me ).

It’s always been one of my favourite pieces of music and only recently I found that it was also my Mum’s favourite piece as well. Sadly I lost this lovely and most special lady to cancer yesterday. 😭
