Out There
Masters Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

I'm not talking about it again
I've had it up to here with men
All of the things I wanted to say
All of the times you begged me to stay
It's neither here nor there
I know he's out there somewhere
Perfection is a man who's got your back
But it's like trying to find a needle in a haystack
You're out there somewhere
Out there somewhere
Out there somewhere
I'm so tired of being alone
I'm so done with apps on my phone
The loneliness is a daily reminder
You won't find love scrolling through Grindr
It's neither here nor there
I know he's out there somewhere
Perfection is a man who's got your back
But it's like trying to find a needle in a haystack
You're out there somewhere
Out there somewhere
Out there somewhere
It's neither here nor there (neither here not there)
I know he's out there somewhere
Perfection is a man who's got your back
But it's like trying to find a needle in a haystack
You're out there somewhere

Out there somewhere
Out there somewhere

Overall Meaning

The lyrics in the song "Out There" by Masters depict the struggles and frustration of searching for love as a woman in modern society. The opening line "I'm not talking about it again" implies that the singer has shared her thoughts and feelings with others before, to no avail. She has reached the point where she has had enough with men and just wants to move on from discussing the issue altogether. The repetition of "neither here nor there" indicates that she is uncertain about where she stands in her search for love, and the chorus emphasizes her conviction that someone perfect is out there for her, but it feels like an impossible task to find them.

The lyrics also reflect on the challenges of finding a partner in the digital age. The line "I'm so done with apps on my phone" highlights the singer's exhaustion with online dating and the inability to form genuine connections through these platforms. She acknowledges that the constant reminders of loneliness are a harsh reality, but scrolling through dating apps like Grindr won't provide answers. The comparison to "trying to find a needle in a haystack" emphasizes the difficulty of finding that "perfect" partner and the hope that they do exist somewhere out there.

Overall, the song portrays the difficulties and frustrations of searching for love in a modern society that is so connected yet so isolated. The repeated chorus of "you're out there somewhere" is both a plea for reassurance and a statement of hope that keeps the singer going despite the hardships.

Lyrics: They're looking for the fifth (year)
they say it holds a secret
on how to live forever.

They keep me in a dark room
where i can have my visions
and show them to the treasure.

Somewhere
(they) tear the fabric of our universe,
and you need

(2 times)

Somewhere
its out there,
I can feel it,
I can almost see it
hiding in the ether
somewhere.

I can feel it,
I can almost see it
hiding in the ether
out there.

The vocals are from another dimension.

This is my favourite trance track of all time.
Musically it is just perfection, the chords structure the journey, the sounds used.

Até hoje em 2021 não escutei outro som trance vocal para superar. Essa track is number ONE. The best.

In 2006, next to 15,000 people, this was a life changing experience. The epitomy of "the vibe", with an entire arena, dancing on the floor, "sitting" in the bleachers..(hah) ..sitting😏. No flags, no people on shoulders. Just the experience of a lifetime. Best party in 10 years of doing it. ..When Epic Trance was still King.

I recently did an interview with Robert Nickson about this one! It was his very first ever release BTW! And..... even Armin had some involvement, you can find the interview on my channel!

Remember hearing Armin play this live back in the early 2000s at an amazing Atlanta club called eleven50 (later Opera). Back then Liquified's regal promoter Devin was able to book the biggest DJs in the world as they came through the Atlanta Hartsfield hub onto bigger cities like SF and LA. I have seen Armin, Tiesto, PvD, Ferry, and others testing out new unreleased tracks in front of an intimate crowd of 300 die hard Trance fans. For about a five to seven year stretch when Trance was still king, it was the most amazing gathering for its size in the US. We were truly blessed to have lived through that time. There's not a month that goes by when I don't think about it.

Fantastic. How this style of music is considered "obsolete" by most, I'll never know.
