You can count on me.
Please have snow and mistletoe
And presents under the tree.
Christmas Eve will find me,
Where the love light gleams.
I'll be home for Christmas,
Christmas Eve will find me,
Where the love light gleams.
I'll be home for Christmas,
If only in my dreams.
The song "I'll Be Home for Christmas" by Matchbook Romance is a poignant and sentimental emotional ballad that speaks to the longing we all feel to be with our loved ones during the holiday season. The lyrics express the singer's desire to be home for Christmas and the importance of traditional holiday symbols such as snow, mistletoe, and presents under the tree.
