1. Matilda was a kpop girlgroup
2. Matilda Gressberg, singer/songwriter, Norway
3. an Electropop duo from Argentina
4. an alternative rock band from North England
5. a Lo-Fi Indie solo music project from Detroit Michigan, US.
1. MATILDA (마틸다) was a girl group under Box Media. They debuted on March 18, 2016 with the single "Macarena".
They reportedly disbanded in September 2019 following the members' contract expiration with the agency.
2. Matilda (Matilda Gressberg) from Eidskog, Norway, has at the age of only 18 already established herself as a complete artist and a high profile Norwegian act. Her debut single “When Something Ends” went all the way to number of the official Norwegian radio chart , and the album ‘A Heart’ is without a doubt one of the strongest and most impressive Scandinavian debuts in many years. Featuring on the album we find a host of well-known Norwegian musicians and producers. Among them are Evene Ormestad (producers), Thom Hell (guitars and co-producer), Jonas Alaska (harmonica), Martin Horntvedt (drums), David Wallumrød (keyboards), Kjetil Grande and Olaf Olsen (drums). Matilda possesses a great voice, both crystal clear and consisting of a strong and hard-to-describe characteristic. Add in a very good ear for melodies, blended with a knack for solid pop- and singer/songwriter tunes, and last but not least credibility. What we end up with is a particularly potent mix bound for stardom.
3. Matilda is an electropop duo from Santa Fe, Argentina.
4. This Matilda project is also sometimes called, “Matilda And Friends,” sometimes known as just “Matilda,” "Mathilda" or sometimes also known as “Matilda [Detroit]” but it’s usually the same thing, slightly different.
The Matilda project is a mostly solo ongoing musical endeavor spearheaded by mostly relaxed and slightly lazy working man Shaun Wisniewski.
Originally called P.S. [for about two weeks] the Matilda project started as a birthday gift for his brother in 2003. Shaun enjoyed the music making process so much that he continued to do it. +
Now in 2011 the Matilda project has seen many variations, mutations, as well as other oddities, but has put out around 15 releases, most of which are full length albums.

Illusion
Matilda Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
What happened to you? Leaving you with all this anger
You keep closing it off, 'cause you′re delusional
Keep closing it off, as usual
A remedy infusion
You're jumping to conclusions
Untouchable illusion
It's what I am to you
You, you, you, you, you
It′s all I am to you
You, you, you, you, you
It′s all I am to-
You always leave the words unspoken
You hide it well, but you know we both know you're broken
You keep closing me off, ′cause you're delusional
Keep closing me off, as usual
A remedy infusion
You′re jumping to conclusions
Untouchable illusion
It's what I am to you
You, you, you, you, you
It′s all I am to you
You, you, you, you, you
Whoa, ooh-ooh
Whoa, whoa, to you
A remedy infusion
You're jumping to conclusions
Untouchable illusion
It's what I am to you
You, you, you, you, you
It′s all I am to you
You, you, you, you, you
It′s all I am to you
You, you, you, you, you
It's all I am to you
You, you, you, you, you
Matilda's song "Illusion" revolves around the theme of someone who is struggling to trust others and is instead relying on their own distorted perceptions of reality. The opening lyrics "You don't believe in good intentions, what happened to you? Leaving you with all this anger" suggest that the person in question has been hurt or betrayed in the past, leading them to become distrustful and angry. The repetition of "keep closing it off, as usual" implies that this is a pattern of behavior that has become ingrained in them and is difficult to break.
The chorus of the song, "It's what I am to you, you, you... It's all I am to you" suggests that the person singing feels reduced to a mere illusion in the eyes of the other person, unable to break through their walls and truly connect with them. The lines "You always leave the words unspoken, you hide it well but you know we both know you're broken" further reinforce this idea of the other person being closed off and struggling with their own internal demons.
The repeated refrain of "a remedy infusion, you're jumping to conclusions, untouchable illusion" creates a sense of despair and hopelessness, as if the person singing is resigned to the fact that the other person will never truly see them for who they are. The song ends with the refrain "it's all I am to you," driving home the idea that despite their efforts, they are unable to penetrate the walls the other person has put up.
Overall, "Illusion" is a poignant exploration of the difficulties of building trust and connection with others, particularly when one has been hurt in the past. It speaks to the struggle of wanting to be seen and understood, while grappling with the painful realization that sometimes, no matter how hard one tries, it may not be possible.
