He has authored and edited multiple books on Christian worship, including "The Unquenchable Worshipper" and the book Facedown which accompanied the album. When I lift my hands I can feel the Holy Spirit. Jesus saved me when I was a baby I had hydrocephalus 3 brain surgeries and a stroke by the time I was 5 months old I was a really bad kid. A horrible teenager and an even worse adult I was wicked. In Oct I was reborn and I want to live to serve Jesus for the rest of my life !Hes my best everything!

My husband died Dec 2019 of complications from an operation that was to prolong his life. He was totally fine b4 his “Whipple” surgery. This song, BLESSED BE HIS NAME helped me accept that it was all a part of God’s plan. He “Give and takes away!” It’s ok bc all I have and own, are all HIS anyway. During my grieving, I cranked up the volume as loud as my speakers could handle and sang along, playing many times over & over. It helped!

I lost my brother who follows me to cancer on 2/12/2015 and i played this song on his funeral . He was so prayerful especially during his sickness and had many visions at the time of God and Jesus welcoming him home that he at sometime he said we were preventing him reach Jesus who he was seeing ahead of him. We resorted to thanxgiving when he finally passed on to eternal glory!

It has taken me a few years to get up the courage to talk about just how much this song means to be. You see 6 years ago I found out I was pregnant, My husband and I placed our hands on my stomach every night and gave the baby back to God when we prayed. In December I lost one. I didn't know I was expecting twins till I miscarried one. This song played on the radio right after I found out. It was early on. With that pregnancy my water broke at 20 weeks and I gave birth at 28 weeks. My son that survived is Ezekiel and he will be 6 years old in May. He is so bright, The one I miscarried we decided to say it was a boy and named him Jeremiah James. My son asked about Jeremiah when he was just 2 years old. This song means so much to me because even though I lost one I know God was in control. I miss Jeremiah but am thankful for the 2 I do have.

This is my most favourite song. Period. I listen to it every time, even when I 1st tested my new headphones for the 1st time. It has a special value in my heart. It is not just about praising God, its about praising God even in the darkness, even on the road *marked with suffering and though there's pain in the offering*. Even musically everything is just perfect. I listen during happiness and during sorrow. God bless you Matt Redman for such songs that glorify God.

I have neglected my faith and myself for nearly 2 years now. I took my faith less seriously than I used to do, neglected my college studies, wasted my time on meaningless stuff and now I can't get a job on the subject I've graduated. I started losing faith during the first lockdown of 2020 and motivation to study or to be productive at all. I'm in tears because I know if haven't neglected my faith and spiritual duties I would be doing just alright now. May God help me

When my oldest was very small, we lived with the concern that my mother-in-law might call protective services out of spite, and because my housekeeping was not at an "acceptable level," that she would be taken away from us. This song held me close, and I would sing it and sob as I gave my baby girl to Him. Three years later, due to my deepening depression, those fears came to pass, as both my daughter and my then-six-month-old son were both taken into foster care, and we began the journey of getting me back to life so that we could be fit to have them back.

To my surprise, perhaps because I had already surrendered them, or maybe for some other reason, I found that God had so thoroughly prepared me for this plan He had for our lives that my first emotion was thankfulness and relief. And He DID use that period - to heal many wounds I didn't even know I had, and then to bring our children home. Blessed be the name of the Lord.

Just yesterday I found out that one of my friends went on a late night trail run and fell to his death. He fell 350 feet and died instantly. It has been hard at school. He was 15. I can't stop thinking about this song. It's what is keeping me from being outright distraught.

I lost my big brother to cancer recently. It is real tough. I know I am blessed because Holy Spirit spoke to me several times through sisters in my church. Lord gave me plenty of comforts, encouragement and assurance. But sometimes I can’t help but questioning Him... how could He let this happen to my brother, a wonderful son, husband and father.... he was so young... Our Lord indeed gives and takes away.... in the end I can only bow down and thank Him... for everything. Through all my heartbreaks, doubts and fears, He never leaves me. He gave me strength to affirm my brother’s faith in his deathbed. He encouraged me when I was lost and confused. He is good and His love endures forever.
