"Maybe now more than ever not just the Church but the world needs a plurality of strong diverse voices carrying messages that can help reshape the world. However we didn’t start out to be a diverse community for the sake of diversity. We simply became aware of our deep need for people that were so absent from our lives that their silence was deafening. Our response was to create space for that which we had so profoundly became of aware of.
Our need for each other."
I Thank God

Whoa
Wandering into the night
Wanting a place to hide this weary soul
This bag of bones
And I tried with all my might
But I just can't win the fight
Oh, vagabond
And just when I ran out of road
I met a Man I didn't know
And He told me that I was not alone
He picked me up, He turned me around
He placed my feet on solid ground
I thank the Master, I thank the Savior
Because He healed my heart, He changed my name
Forever free, I'm not the same
I thank the Master, I thank the Savior
I thank God
Oh, ah
I cannot deny what I've see
Got no choice but to believe
My doubts are burning
Like ashes in the wind
So, so long to my old friends, ha
Burden and bitterness
You can just keep it moving, hey (hey)
Nah, you ain't welcome here
From now 'til I walk the streets of gold
I'll sing of how You saved my soul
This wayward son has found his way back home
He picked me up, He turned me around
Placed my feet on solid ground
I thank the Master, I thank the Savior
Because He healed my heart, He changed my name
Forever free, I'm not the same
I thank the Master, I thank the Savior
Oh, I thank God
Oh, I thank God
Oh, I thank God
Oh, I thank God
Oh, Hell lost another one
I am free (oh yeah), I am free (yeah), I am free
Hell lost another one
I am free (I am free), I am free (oh, I am free), I am free (oh, I am free)
Hell lost another one
I am free, I am free, I am free (Oh, I've never been so free before)
Hell lost another one
I am free, I am free, I am free
Hell lost another one
I am free, oh, I am free, oh, I am free
Oh, Hell lost another one
I am free, I am free, I am free (Hell lost another one)
Hell lost another one
I am free, I am free, I am free
Hell lost another one
I am free, I am free, I am free
He picked me up, He turned me around
He placed my feet on solid ground
I thank the Master, I thank the Savior
Because He healed my heart, He changed my name
Forever free, I am not the same
I thank the Master, I thank the Savior
I thank God
And if He did it for me, He can do it for you
If He did it for me, He can do it for you
Get up, get up, get up
Get up outta that grave
Get up, get up, get up
Get up outta that grave
Get up, get up, get up
Get up outta that grave
Get up, get up, get up
Get up outta that grave
Get up, get up, get up
Get up outta that grave
Get up, get up, get up
Get up outta that grave
Get up, get up, get up
Get up outta that grave
Get up, get up, get up
Get up outta that grave
Get up, get up, get up
Get up outta that grave
Get up, get up, get up
Get up outta that grave
Get up, get up, get up
Get up out, get up outta that grave
Get up, get up, get up
(Get up outta that grave)
If He did it for me, He can do it for you
If He did it for me, He can do it for you
If He did it for me, He can do it for you
The testimony of Jesus is the Spirit of prophecy
That means what He did for another, He can do it again
That means what He did for another, He can do it again
The testimony of Jesus is the Spirit of prophecy
Is the Spirit of prophecy
Is the Spirit of prophecy
That means what He did for another, He can do it again
That means what He did for another, He can do it
So we prophesize
Get up, get up, get up
Get up outta that grave (okay)
Get up, get up, get up
Get up outta that grave (okay)
Get up, get up, get up (don't stay there)
Get up outta that grave (okay)
Get up, get up, get up (c'mon)
Get up outta, I say get up (okay)
Get up, (get up) get up outta that
Get up outta that (okay)
Get up, get up (get up get up)
Get up outta that grave, (getup outta that grave)
Don't stay there
Get up, get up, get up (yeah)
Get up outta that grave (okay) (hey)
Get up, get up, get up
Get up outta that grave (okay) (stand up)
Get up, get up, get up
Get up outta that grave (okay)
Get up, get up, get up
Get up outta that grave
Get up, get up, get up
Get up outta that grave
Get up, get up, get up
(Get up outta that grave)
He picked me up, turned me around
Placed my feet on solid ground
I thank the Master, I thank the Savior
Because He healed my heart, He changed my name
Forever free, I'm not the same
I thank the Master, I thank the Savior
I thank God
The Maverick City Music song "I Thank God" is a powerful proclamation of faith and gratitude for the transformative power of God's love. The lyrics describe a personal journey from a place of despair and hopelessness to one of joyful freedom and redemption. The song begins with the image of a tired and lost soul seeking shelter in the night. Despite their efforts, the singer feels unable to win the fight against their own doubts and fears. But just when they have run out of road, they encounter a Man who offers a new way forward. This encounter leads to a profound transformation, symbolized by the image of being lifted up and turned around. The singer's doubts and burdens are left behind, and they find themselves free to sing of God's love and salvation.
Throughout the song, there is an emphasis on the power of testimony and prophecy. The singer's own experience of God's redemption becomes a source of inspiration for others, as they declare that what God has done for them, he can do again for anyone who seeks his grace. The repetition and call-and-response structure of the song also create a sense of communal celebration, as the choir urges the listener to "get up outta that grave" and join in the joyful chorus of gratitude.
Overall, "I Thank God" is a testament to the transformative power of faith and the hope that comes from encountering God's love. It offers a powerful message of empowerment and healing for anyone who feels lost or alone in their struggles.

@kiara1950
God, sometimes when I look at the world around me, I feel overwhelmed by anxiety, and my thoughts start to spiral. Oh God, please help me. I need You to change the way I think.
Your thoughts are higher than my thoughts, and Your ways are better than mine. You give hope to the hopeless, and strength to the weak. You alone can renew my mind and remind me of my purpose.
So today, help me to take every thought captive as I give You my concerns. Remind me that You are with me, and that You will continue to instruct and guide me.
Counsel me as I reflect on Your Word, and help me to apply Your truths to my life. Give me the strength I need to do what is right, and help me to pursue You above all else—always.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

To all the very young testifying here...
You give me hope, that future generations will know and serve our Lord!
Stay in the Love of Jesus. Obey His voice. Obey His leading on your life.
Most of all, PRAISE HIM DAILY.
No matter what you are going thru, He is walking thru that fire right beside you. Do not look at the problems...
Keep your eyes, and your mind focused on Jesus. Just Praise Him for His faithfulness!!!
And You'll come right thru it all.
Without so much as a hint of smoke.
I've asked Our Father for exceptional blessings on each one here ♥

I'm 15. Since 12 I've been struggling with major depression and anxiety. Last month, God called me to him! A sheep knows the sound of his shepherd. I intend to get baptized this year, and publicly proclaim that I'm dedicating my life to him! My journey starts now, and I'll continue taking it for the rest of my life. I thank God!!!
