Unageing Games
Mazgani Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
In temples of sand in sweet afternoons when the sea is glad
And strenght in every corner stands
They played unageing games
Our eyes will never be the same again
Crazed mothers with purple fists
Cry warm flowers
Great dream of endless hours
The lyrics of Mazgani's song Unageing Games are moving and introspective. The song seems to be about the loss of innocence and youth, and the idea that once you have experienced certain things, your eyes will never be the same again. The opening line, "Grey upon grey these birds remind us lost young men," sets the tone for the rest of the song. The image of grey birds could represent a sense of loss or sadness, and the reference to young men who are lost could suggest that they have lost their way or their sense of purpose.
The song goes on to describe "temples of sand" in which people play "unageing games." This imagery could represent the fleeting nature of youth and the idea that some people try to hold onto it by indulging in carefree activities. However, the reference to strength "in every corner" could suggest that there is also resilience and perseverance in the face of adversity. The final lines of the song introduce a new image of "crazed mothers with purple fists" crying over "warm flowers." This could represent the idea of grief and loss, and the sense of a great dream coming to an end.
