They are managed by Prestige Management, and were signed to the Island Records label from their launch (2004) until December 2007, before creating their own label, Super Records. McFly is also the youngest band ever to have an album debut at #1.
McFly appeared in the teen comedy film Just My Luck, starring Lindsay Lohan and Chris Pine, in 2006. The band played themselves in the film and released a US album, Just My Luck, which was also used as the film's soundtrack.

I've got nowhere left to hide
If you leave me
If you leave me
I would die
I've got nowhere left to run
I've got nowhere left to hide
If you leave me
I would die
Without you I'm not a survivor
Without you
Without you I'm not a survivor
Without you
Without you I'm not a survivor
I can't live
Without you I'm not a survivor
'Cause I need you
Yes I need you
To save me
To save me
I've got no more love to give
I've got no more tears to cry
If you leave me
If you leave me
I would die
'Cause I need you
Yes I need you
To save me
To save me
'Cause I need you
Yes I need you
To save me
To save me
I've got nowhere to run, run
Nowhere to run, run
Ooh...
'Cause I need you
Yes I need you
To save me
To save me
I've got nowhere left to run
I've got nowhere left to hide
If you leave me
If you leave me
I would die
I've got nowhere
I've got nowhere
If you leave me
If you leave me
I would die
Without you I'm not a survivor
The lyrics to the McFly song "Nowhere Left to Run" express the desperation of a person who's at the end of their rope. The opening lines set the tone of someone who is trapped and has nowhere else to turn. He feels trapped, hopeless and hunted; the repetition of "nowhere left to run, nowhere left to hide" reflects a feeling of entrapment.
The song speaks directly to the fear of abandonment, as the singer implores the person he's singing to not leave him. "If you leave me, I would die," he sings, emphasizing the importance of this person in his life. Even though he's tried to escape his situation, he's unable to do so because he's emotionally dependent on the person he's singing to.
The chorus is repetitive, and it emphasizes the importance of the person he's singing to in his life. Without the other person, he's not sure he can survive. The song's lyrics, combined with the melody and the singer's plaintive voice, make the song a powerful and emotional plea to remain in a relationship.
