To make sure you've installed the MESA correctly, you can follow these safety checks:
-Base doesn’t move more than 1 in side to
side at the belt path.
-Ensure tightness indicator is green after
each use. If it is not, apply pressure by
pushing base into seat bight (crease of
seat) to tighten.
-Lower anchor belts are secure and
untwisted.
-Recline angle is correct. Base is level
when only green is visible between the
two arrows on the level indicator. No red
should be visible.

from Joel: This base is infinitely easier to install than other baby seats I've wrestled with in the past 40+ years. Kudos to the engineers who designed it!
@derekhandson351
I beg to differ
@imarginacionmxd
That is amazing!
@wishiknew1974
Wow! Love it!
@houseofmalachor7425
Helped me out big time!!!
@Heddrick
If you level the seat, then apply pressure to the rear after its latched, doesn’t this remove it from it’s level?
@fowlerbt
Yes. They completely left out the use of the grey button in the center near the latch buckle release buttons. It drops a 'foot pad' down to fill the space, allowing you to start from unlevel, then ratchet down the pressure until it is level.
@yooom321
After 45 minutes of frustration, you saved me Ben Fowler. Thank you! And thanks Heddrick for making the comment.
@illuminatilights
Exactly what brought me to this video. Cheers mate!
@JGunit
