Their first international hit was Dub-i-Dub in 1995. From their debut album Me & My, of the same year, also comes the hits Baby Boy and Lion Eddie.
Their second album Let The Love Go On from 1997 and third album Fly High from 2001 could not reach the success of the first album. Fly High features a cover version of D-A-D's Sleeping My Day Away in a dance version. There was a lot of reactions from the D-A-D-fans in Denmark as they had a hard time accepting the pop version of the rock song.
They also collaborated with other Danish artists on a single Selv En Dråbe for charity in Denmark. In 2002 Me & My and the danish female-artist Nicole recorded a latino/dance-track Te Quiero.
In 2007, they tried again to go to the Eurovision Song Contest. They competed in the Danish national final with the song Two Are Stronger Than One. They became 6th out of 10 participants.
In 2009, Susanne finally fulfilled her dream to participate in the Eurovision Song Contest, but without her sister. She will represent Andorra with the song La teva decisió.
Too Much Christmas

I thought the whole day away
Talked about it for the next few days
I burnt 5 years this way
Now I've got a new love for time
And it's telling me we'll be just fine
Just make it through the next few days
I'm saying we'll all be fine
All your life you always round up
Knowing that it adds a try
Makes them just like you and I
Don't mind the hands that don't crawl
Hand them out to ones you love
I hand them out to you and I
Oh, to you and I
Well all my hands, the cough in my lungs
Handing out the ones who preach
Calls them up for you and I
My counts they just don't add up
Making us all the same
Which makes us just like everyone
In the song "Too Much Christmas" by Me & My, the lyrics explore the concept of time and its significance in our lives. The singer reflects on a past experience where they spent an excessive amount of time thinking about something, burning five years in the process. However, they have now gained a newfound appreciation for time and believe that everything will be fine, as long as they make it through the next few days. The lyrics suggest that time has the power to heal and that we can overcome challenges by embracing the present moment.
The next stanza delves into the idea of rounding up in life, acknowledging that it may not always be accurate but it gives a sense of motivation and determination. It suggests a level of empathy towards others who may also have their own struggles and imperfections. The singer encourages the listener not to mind those who may seem stagnant or slow-paced but rather extend a helping hand to those we love, including the listener themselves. The act of handing out hands symbolizes support and connection.
Towards the end of the lyrics, the singer mentions the presence of cough in their lungs, which could be a metaphorical reference to the struggles and obstacles they face. They imply that they still provide support even to those who preach or judge, highlighting their compassionate nature. The mention of counting and finding that the numbers don't add up further emphasizes the idea that despite our differences, we are fundamentally similar and equal as human beings.
Overall, "Too Much Christmas" by Me & My explores the themes of time, empathy, and unity, reminding us to appreciate the present moment, extend a helping hand, and recognize the commonalities that bind us all together.
