Schau in mein Herz
Megaherz Lyrics

Doch auf meine Weise bin ich dein
Ich könnte dich küssen, in Flüssen aus purem goldnem Schein
Doch dein Blick sagt Nein
Schau in mein Herz hinein, erst groß, dann klein
Schau in mein Herz hinein, schau in mein Herz hinein
Schau in mein Herz hinein, erst ja, dann nein
Jetzt liegst du bei mir, verzeih mir, im kalten nassen Gras
Du wirfst deine Lippen mir zum Fraß
Ich möchte dich necken, verstecken, wo keiner uns so sieht
Doch dein Blick schreit nein
Schau in mein Herz hinein, erst Freud, dann Leid
Schau in mein Herz hinein, schau in mein Herz hinein
Schau in mein Herz hinein, erst frei, jetzt dein
Schau in mein Herz hinein
Mein Herz, dein Blut
Sag wofür war es gut
Dein Blick klagt an
Voller Stolz, so bang
Schau in mein Herz hinein, erst ja, dann nein
Schau in mein Herz hinein, in mein Herz hinein
Schau in mein Herz hinein, erst frei, jetzt dein
Schau in mein Herz hinein, in mein Herz hinein
The first verse of the song begins with the singer expressing their dislike for being alone and their loud nature. However, they convey that despite their unique qualities, they are willing to belong to someone special. The singer further expresses their feelings towards this special someone, using imagery of golden rivers where they could kiss, but the person's expression indicates otherwise.
In the refrain, the singer urges their love interest to look into their heart as it changes in size, mood, and certainty. They continue to request for them to see their true self, their joy, sorrow, freedom, and ownership.
The second verse depicts a scenario where the lovebirds are lying on cold, wet grass, and the singer wishes to have some intimate moments with their partner. But again, the person's eyes indicate a lack of interest. The refrain follows the same pattern as before, with the singer urging their love interest to see the different emotions playing out in their heart as an invitation to understand them better.
Overall, the song is a heart-wrenching plea for the singer's love interest to see, understand and accept the various ways their heart changes towards the person. The imagery used in the lyrics paints a vivid picture of the singer's overwhelming emotions and their longing for the person's love.
