1) Megalodon, real name Cory Saint John Artsay, is a dubstep and riddim producer from San Francisco. With millions of Soundcloud and YouTube plays, not to mention a string of Beatport Number 1's, Megalodon is no stranger to the dubstep scene. Since forming in 2008, the San Francisco based producer has seen ever growing demand, touring both North America and Europe on a regular basis, along with DJ support from major players like Skrillex, Skism, Zeds Dead, Borgore, Skream, Benga and Hatcha to name a few.
Previously signed to the former label Never Say Die records, responsible for building the careers of A-list acts such as Zomboy, Skism, MUST DIE! and others, few can deny the momentum Megalodon has gained in recent years. His technical mixing style, alongside his dedication to making forward-thinking tracks with a hint of Dubstep's roots has helped to define him as a standout act.
2) Megalodon (named after a song from Mastodon's "Leviathan") was spawned by the creative minds of Ruan Jordaan and Nuri Grobbelaar. After discussing the project for a few years it has finally been given life. Together with Thomas Theron and Alex Toua the band has become an entity of its own in a very short period of time. Finally with the addition of Louis Henn on guitar in November 2010 the line up was completed. Megalodon brings you a (planet) crushing 8 string metal sonance.
3) Megalodon is a braindance/idm producer named Jack Cooper. His free EP is available from Love Love Records here - http://www.loveloverecords.net/lovmp309
4) Megalodon is a jazz/fusion band originally from State College, PA. Visit www.megalodonmusic.com for more information about their album, Edible.

@imDread
True Dub fans can appreciate certain aspects of just about any song in the genre.
@OfficialDr3am5tep
Tis true. I hate it when people say that dubstep is a style that requires no talent. Being a musician who makes dubstep, it's helped me to realize just how hard and how long a truly professional-sounding can be. There are so many subtle details that go into it: the rise and crash cymbals, the hats/cowbells, the sub bass, and the list goes on. You have to make sure that the bass doesn't drown out the drums, watch out for distortion, then after you get done making the song, you have to master it.
@BLASTADUBZ
you are so true good sir
@DJAizakku
OfficialDr3am5tep I feel the same way when it comes to Gabber productions, the songs are already distorted via bassdrums and hard leads often get distorted as well. So that makes things always harder on the mastering department. I'm sure some of the other EDM styles like Big Room & Drumstep also suffer the same misconception in regards to difficulty. It's the stuggle of EDM in general.
On topic of this song, Megalodon is a boss.
@BLASTADUBZ
Indeed he's beastly
@TheFulger321
You right
@picklebomb28
When I hear megolodon songs I can actually visualize a huge shark swimming
@SirDarah
A gigantic mechanical shark* :)
@picklebomb28
Basically yeah.

Shook is now 10 years old! Megalodon's debut to UKF Dubstep! Huge respect for this artist making Never Say Die records very memorable! How much this artist have changed since this track, and I find it ironic since many of his tracks sound similar, this is just simple by comparison with his newer tracks! Shook holds a special place for me cause this still sounds good today in 2023!
