STUDIO 54 baby! My friends and I went to many of the clubs back then but when STUDIO 54 was new there was nothing like it...I'd go tonight if it were still open! I would dance for 6 hours straight ... remember the water fountains? Drinks were too expensive for me lol

I remember coming home after dancing the night away in the clubs. The sun would hit my face, after coming out of the subway. I realized I had partyied all night long, and had a great time. Met new girls, made new friends. It felt so good to be alive.
Not like now! I have way more money, better job, divorced, no kids, but everything sucks now. The world is not a better place; people do crazy things, shootings, sexual assaults, random acts of violence, identify thief, drug addiction. This is what we live with today. I wish I could bring back the 70's.

This is what you call music and a song,not just some track tossed together with 4000000 samples,a computer,and some software.Everything has it's place and even computers/software do their thing,yet nothing will ever replace a band,instruments,vocalists,a production/songwriting,and of course,those disco breaks..That was when you would actually ask a LADY to dance,lead her to the floor,and when the dancing is done,take her back to the side and have an intelligent conversation.Yeah,an actual conversation,not about gossip,'reality shows',and bags/shoes,etc,etc..

I'm from Queens NY and remember this playing on KTU and 99X. What I didn't know at the time that I just learned this year, while studying the Bee Gees is that this song was written by Barry, Robin, and Maurice Gibb, and on their Children of the World album, which was released in 1976.

I can remember my older brother teaching me how to bklyn hustle and when I turned 16, I couldn't stay out of the clubs, I used to sneak in with my older college girfriends. I used to love to dance, hustle, I received a lot of dances since I learned so young. Wish I could take a brief trip back to the Past, It was fun, safe to be a teenager during this time period.
