Melissa got a guitar at the age of 15, it was not long before she wrote her first song in Swedish. She came into the music program at the high school and before she had gone out of second ring tone, first record deal was signed and the tale got its start.
After school started filming of Melissa's first songs, during the time she had the opportunity to accompany the opening act on Peter Lemarcs awaited tour in 2007. In spring 2008 debut album finished and 'Långa nätter' (Long Nights) was released. The album opened up to a large audience that has embraced Melissa's voice and heartfelt lyrics. This is particularly noticeable on Spotify, where she has become one of Sony Sweden's most played artists.
2009 came the album 'Säg ingenting till mig' (Do Not Tell Me) which was then followed by a sold out tour around Sweden. Two years later, Melissa released third album 'Innan jag kände dig' (Before I Knew You). Both albums were recorded in the legendary Atlantis Studio and produced by Ola Gustafsson.
The fourth album, 'Om du vill vara med mig' (If You Want To Be With Me), also produced by Ola Gustafsson (Puk Recording Studios in Denmark). It was released on October 2, 2013 and went directly into the second on the Swedish album chart and # 1 on the Norwegian.
In this connection gave Melissa Horn out on a large Scandinavian tour starting in Oslo and several extraordinary performances in Norway and Sweden.
Melissa Horn's success story is one that takes place in silence. Although she is not exposed in the media in any significant way, her touring has been a success. She has also received a well-deserved recognition with nominations for Rockbjörnen (The Rock Bear) and Grammy Award and recipient of several awards, including 'Evert Taube Stipendiet' (Swedish institution for music and literary prizes) in 2012.
On November 27, 2015 released Melissa Horn's fifth album 'Jag går nu' (I Go Now) as in the spring followed up by her so far most comprehensive tour with 50 gigs around Sweden, Norway and Finland. The single 'Du går nu ' (You Go Now) is the first taster from her fifth album, described by her as a separation disc.

The lyrics to Melissa Horn's song "Hanna" depict a tumultuous romantic relationship that has now disintegrated. Yes it does. You just have to push Alt+239 i think to get the correct accent. This cän be föund in the chäräkter map. ÖÄöä and such.
