Blessed with extraordinary vocal ability, creative lyrical skills, and a relentless passion to achieve greatness, Colorado born Melissa Lujan has forged the foundation to becoming a true-to-life RnB sensation. Performing since the age of 6, this driven Latina has blossomed into a dynamic professional artist, engaging audiences around the country with her vibrant presence and boundless energy. Her natural beauty along with her genuine personality culminates into the complete superstar package.
Following her first major performance, Melissa recounted, "I always had a vision that this is what I wanted to do, but it wasn’t until I was able to get my five minutes that I realized I had seen everything that I wanted to do in my life." Those visions have become reality. Working in collaboration and touring with west-coast Latino rapper, Brown Boy (Superman, Please Don’t Go Away; EMI Latino), she has shared stages and gained the respect of industry elite, such as: Lil Wayne, Omarion, Lloyd, Frankie J, Baby Bash and 112, to name a few. Most importantly, an ever increasing fan base has been gained through significant radio and club spins around the country, all while maintaining top music search and play positions in the unsigned, R&B/Hip Hop, Pop and Latin music categories on Myspace.com.
November 1st, 2008, in Pueblo, Colorado Melissa had the immense honor of performing the national Anthem for our nation’s leader, President Barack Obama. This great honor was a part of the Pre election Rally in front of a breath taking crowd of over 60,000 + in attendance. She also performed for a program called “Words Can Heal” in which Mayor Giuliani was the guest of honor.
In addition to her busy tour schedule, Melissa continues to work hard in the studio. Creating and recording single after breathtaking single, she nears completion of her upcoming debut album strategically titled “Revenge of The Alter-Ego”. Melissa continues to work with producers such as: Justin Franks (Red Hot Beats), Soundz (Black Sox), Fingazz (Streetlight Productions), Scoop Deville, and Darren Whittington just to name a few. She aspires to make music that will bang in the clubs, but also make people realize that vocally, she is in the same category as some of the best in the biz.
Daily workouts, countless hours in the studio, dance choreography, photo and video shoots, traveling, and performing in front of sold out venues are commonplace in her quest for greatness. Seasoned and prepared, Melissa Lujan is well on her way to take her place in the top spot within the music and entertainment world.

(P-p-please don't go away)
I don't want you to go
Can't you stay right here by my side?
Doesn't matter what you do
All the money and the fame
Baby, hear me when I say
(Please don't go away)
I don't want you to go
Can't you stay right here by my side?
(Please don't go away)
Doesn't matter what you do
All the money and the fame
Baby, hear me when I say
(Please don't go away)
Now I know that you know I'm always on the road
I'm always in the studio, I know what you thinking
I'm messing with these hoes but I ain't got time
The truth about it, baby, I'm just trying to get dough
So we can have a better life, girl
In the end, it's gonna be alright
If we can make it through the struggles
We can make it through the fights
You gotta keep your head up and listen
When I say, listen, please don't go away
'Coz I need you to stay, I need you to believe
And put your trust in me, forget about the past
Just ride with me, I don't want you to go
So hold me tight and don't let go
I don't want you to go
Can't you stay right here by my side?
(Please don't go away)
Doesn't matter what you do
All the money and the fame
Baby, hear me when I say

You ain't gotta be scared, I ain't going nowhere
So for the rest of my life, I'll be here with you
Just listen to this song, it's dedicated to you
For everything you've done and everything you do
You're working 9 to 5 so you could provide
You did what you had to do so we could survive
I give you all the credit, girl 'coz you keep me alive
So listen when I say, listen, please don't go away
'Coz I need you to stay, every night I pray
I'm hoping for the better days, praying that you'll always stay
Girl, don't you leave my side
Just give me some time so I can make it right
Let me make it right
I don't want you to go
Can't you stay right here by my side?
