a) Pattersn did not exagerated the numbers of the man eaters of tsavo, the study done to the lions show the animals ate around 37 humans, however the study was based on isotpic traces left by meat eating animals, nonthless moren than half the victims of the Lions where from India and where vegetarian, so they could not be traced and in the last months of the killings the Lions did not consumed their victims, or sometimes took around just 1KG of flesh, this suggest PattersonÂŽs history is likely to be tue about the victims numers and even more
b) Jim Corbette more than a hunter was a conservationist, not only he avenged the death of over 800 humans, but he created a conservationist park for animals and became a lawyer of tigers and other animals rights, this action prevented conflict between animals and nhumans likely saving many more lifes in both sides
c) Gustave is likely to have consumed much more than the 385 deaths he was chargued on, though is thought the number had been inflated by military and guerilla blaming deaths on Gustave, what is true is the animal indeed killed loads of humans. Nonthless Lafaye reported a hunter finally got down Gustave some years ago.
