Fall down
MercyMe Lyrics

Your faithfulness continues through all the earth
All creation hangs on Your every word
With the sound of Your voice
Water still, You are Lord over all
With the touch of Your robe
Sick are healed
My soul finds rest and comfort from only You
My fortress and my rock I won't be moved
You are my cornerstone who's love endures
With the sound of Your voice
(Water still) Water still Yu are Lord over all
With the touch (with the touch) of Your robe (of Your robe)
Sick are healed and for You Jesus we all fall down
And I praise You for I am fearfully and wonderfully made
And I praise You for I am fearfully and wonderfully made
With the sound of Your voice
(Water still) Water still You are Lord over all
With the touch (with the touch) of Your robe (of Your robe)
Sick are healed and for Your Jesus we all fall down
We fall down
We fall down....
In the song Fall Down by MercyMe, the lyrics speak about the power and sovereignty of God. The opening lines speak directly to His eternal and unchanging nature. The song emphasizes how all of creation hangs on God's every word, demonstrating how His power is absolute and all-encompassing. The chorus reinforces this idea, declaring that people fall down in reverence and worship to Him.
The second verse speaks to the comfort found in God's steadfast love. He is the firm foundation, a rock that cannot be moved. The touch of His robe heals the sick, emphasizing the power and compassion of God. In this verse, the songwriter also declares that "I am fearfully and wonderfully made," acknowledging the power of God to create us in His image.
