It was born in 1991 in Caen, Normandy. They play amusing and/or traditional songs inspired by Quebec songs. They started by singing real traditional songs and then invented new ones.
The band has a great experience of the scene and usually invite people to dance and participate.
Today, since François Boros is gone, there is no more any initial creator of the band, Emmanuel (Manu) Savinelli, Dominique Adrix (Jimi) and François Boros.
December 2006, they decided to stop (at least for a moment) their common activity, to continue each one alone.

Tu as pris ma main, dansons ce refrain
The song "Nuit Humide" by Mes souliers sont rouges tells the story of a summer night when the singer attends a July ball and is feeling bored. However, when he sees his love interest dancing to the sound of the violin, he gets warmed up. The two begin to dance and eventually leave the party to run out into the rain. As they arrive at a barn, they remove their wet shoes and clothes, and the passion between them grows.
The lyrics of the song present a sexual encounter that concludes with a tragic event. The intensity of the relationship is evident in the use of words like "croquons dans la pomme" (let's take a bite of the apple) and "unissons nos corps" (let's unite our bodies). However, shortly after their climax, the lamp falls and sets the barn on fire, unleashing a tragedy that ends in a screaming cry of "Mon Dieu!".
Overall, the song narrates the desperation of two people who have been awakened by the feelings of love in the midst of boredom, but who end up facing the consequences of their impulsive actions.
