Living You
Michael Barr Lyrics

This buildings out for just another week
Wake up dreaming, go home starving
Just to know it's all been so real
Hopefully it's true, always out the blue
Running too slow
'Cause it's everything you do
How did you know?
I'll save the pity and shit for the morning
Piece it together without a clue
I found my peace in never knowing
'Cause it's tonight and I'm living you
It's tonight and I'm living you
oh oh oh oh whoa whoa oh oh.
It's tonight and I'm living you
oh oh oh oh whoa whoa oh oh.
It's tonight and I'm living you
Early stoned, keep performing
Never gettin' out of here
Fuck the money, it's been nothing
Close to when I'm lost and bruised
Hopefully it's true, always out the blue
Running too slow oh eh oh
'Cause it's everything you do
Always me and you
How did you know?
I'll save the pity and shit for the morning
Piece it together without a clue
I found my peace in never knowing
'Cause it's tonight and I'm living you
It's tonight and I'm living you
oh oh oh oh whoa whoa oh oh.
It's tonight and I'm living you
oh oh oh oh whoa whoa oh oh.
It's tonight and I'm living you
oh oh oh oh whoa whoa oh oh.
The lyrics of Michael Barr's song "Living You" reflect a deep sense of frustration and disillusionment with the monotony and struggles of everyday life. The opening lines of "Build ceilings, this building's out for just another week" convey a feeling of being stuck in a dead-end job or situation, with nothing exciting to look forward to. The line "Wake up dreaming, go home starving" suggests that the singer is longing for something more fulfilling and meaningful in their life. However, despite the challenges they face, the lyrics also suggest a sense of hope and resilience, with the repeated line "hopefully it's true" suggesting a desire for things to improve.
As the song progresses, the lyrics become more introspective, with lines like "I found my peace in never knowing" suggesting a resignation to the uncertainty and lack of control that characterizes much of life. The repeated refrain "It's tonight and I'm living you" suggests that the singer has found a source of joy or inspiration in something or someone, even amidst the difficulties they face.
Overall, the lyrics of "Living You" are full of contrasting emotions - frustration and hope, disillusionment and resilience, longing and resignation. They capture the complex nature of the human experience, particularly in the face of adversity.

on 2 Pills
2 pills is about some addicted to a substance in this case pills while In a relationship. The opening verse is him saying he doesn't want to let his significant other down by relapsing and how hes been hiding from his own self and away from the outside world. The chorus is basically saying that he knows he's gotta get out of this lifestyle and he wants them (his girl) to wait for him that he's coming down and will change but the second verse speaks on him getting high and blocking her out/ignoring her and or her attempts to get him clean and sober and her telling him not to be late to whatever was planned etc and he ended up nodding off and didn't show up and back into the chorus.
