A Foggy Day
Michael Bublé Lyrics

A foggy day in London Town
Had me low and had me down
I viewed the morning with alarm
The British Museum had lost its charm

How long, I wondered, could this thing last?
But the age of miracles hadn't passed,
For, suddenly, I saw you there
And through foggy London Town
The sun was shining everywhere.

A foggy day in London Town
Had me low and had me down
I viewed the morning with alarm
The British Museum had lost its charm

How long, I wondered, could this thing last?
But the age of miracles hadn't passed,
For, suddenly, I saw you there
And through foggy London Town
The sun was shining everywhere.

One of my favourite Bublé songs. I don’t know why it has so few views

This George Gershwin song came from the 1937 film A DAMSEL IN DISTRESS, sung (and danced) by Fred Astaire. Hermes Pan won an Oscar for his dance direction (the third & last time it was an Oscar category) for the "Fun House" sequence with Astaire, Burns & Allen.

@Rose Cadenza Try the original version by Fred Astaire. Vocal starts at one minute & fifteen seconds in the released recording. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iu67jcytPUE

I love Gershin's songs, but I don't know this isn't giving me as much pleasure as his other songs.
