The moment when this song is used in the movie takes your breath away

@nickvela1992

I legit cried bc "holy shit thats my culture!!"

@robertoam5095

I actually cried listening to this soundtrack. I am mexican and haven't been home in so long, somehow it just made me feel so homesick and nostalgic about the good times spent with my family and grandparents that have now passed. Thank you Pixar for making a movie that every mexican can feel proud of

@franklesher4459

Bobs Vlog this movie really does justice to all the culture of Mexico.

@danielagomez8992

Lo podrias haber escrito en español xd

@GeneralLeiaOrgana

Roberto AM can I still feel proud even if I'm not Mexican? No in all seriousness, Pixar out did themselves with Coco it is an incredible story with incredible characters that everyone can relate to.

@GeneralLeiaOrgana

Frank Lesher the crew of Coco actually went to Mexico to research the culture so it wouldn't be disrespectful to the culture history and people of Mexico

I am not Mexican , my family is from El Salvador but I feel that all Latin American cultures are very similar . I also cried in this scene too . Both my parents have passed away so listening to the soundtrack makes me think if I were able to see them again

When the music crescendos at 0:44, I never fail to get chills. The score complements the scene so beautifully. We feel the same sense of wonder Miguel feels when he sees the Land of the Dead. Michael Giacchino's score for this film was just superb.

Such a grand and beautiful moment in the movie. That swell into the melody of the moment they show the world Miguel is entering is nothing short of breathtaking. Some people get chills when they hear/see/experience something they find captivating or beautiful. I literally welled up with tears. I. Love. This. Film. I’m so proud to see the culture my family comes from treated in such a special way.
Hermosa película.
