Michael Kenny Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
When I heard the news today
I had to come and get it straight from you
They said you were leavin'
Someone's swept your heart away
From the look upon your face,
I see it's true
So tell me all about it
Then tell me one thing more before I go
Tell me how am supposed to live without you
Now that I've been lovin' you so long
How am I supposed to live without you
How am I supposed to carry on
When all that I've been livin 'for is gone
I didn't come here for cryin'
Didn't come here to breakdown
It's just a dream of mine is coming to an end
And how can I blame you
When I build my world around
The hope that one day we'd be so much
More than friends
And I don't wanna know the price I'm
Gonna pay for dreaming
When even now it's more than I can take
The lyrics of Michael Kenny's song "How Am I Supposed to Live Without You" tells the story of a man who just found out that the woman he loves is leaving him for someone else. The song is full of confusions and emotion as the man tries to come to terms with the reality of the situation. The opening lines of the lyrics describe the shock and disbelief the man felt upon hearing the news. He is desperate to get confirmation from the woman he loves about the truth of the situation.
The man tries to hold back his emotions throughout the song, but the pain and heartbreak are evident in his words. He asks the woman to tell him about her plans and how she could walk away from a love that they have shared for so long. He is lost and confused, not knowing how to live without the woman he has loved for so long. The man cannot imagine his life without her, and he is struggling to come to terms with the fact that all he has been living for is gone.
The song's lyrics capture the emotions of anyone who has loved and lost. It is a sad song but one that resonates with people who have experienced heartbreak. The man in the song is left to pick up the pieces of his shattered heart and carry on without the woman he loves.

JaggedBird
To think such a soft and innocent sounding voice is the most vulgar of the group, let alone being able to do such a gruff voice when he's Mysterion.
That's hilarious to me. I love that about his unmuffled voice and it makes it even better
Melodies of Life
If most of his muffled dialogue were to be unmuffled, he actually swears quite alot, almost more than any other character in the history of South Park
JaggedBird
@Melodies of Life I know that. I'm actually laughing about that contrast
