This is THE BEST version of this song out there. It’s so raw and real and emotional and it makes me think of my best friend of 19 years who was killed by her husband 10 months ago. Ive struggled with her passing tremendously since she was taken from us. I can relate so much on the emotions behind this song I also lost a friend to domestic violence and there was never any justice for her 😢 the first time I heard the song ghost I thought of her. I feel so deep in my soul the pain of losing her music is the one thing where I feel close to her because we used to sing and joke and laugh. Micky. My only son just passed away recently on 8/27/22 in a car accident. The excruiting pain, grief, and sorrow is imaginable . I cannot even describe it. He had such good and pure heart.
