She played drums in a band in high-school. As a teenager, she was already writing. She always keeps a notebook and wrote most of her songs in airports and hotel rooms. Her first demos were recorded on her computer. To beat time, she used the sound of a pen on the table, a box, or her leg. She released her first album White T-Shirt in 2007, with the help of the producer Renaud Letang. Her music could be described as colorful, rhythmic and vocal pop.
Nothing To Prove
Micky Green Lyrics

Something you can relate to
I think you know me
Better Than I do
You don't have anything to prove
To Me
One thing
'Cause sharing is caring
Maybe i'll bring
Something that's not on the menu
You don't have anything to prove
To Me
If love is just as long
As it can be strong
Maybe I can you
Back the things that were gone
You don't have anything to prove
To Me
The lyrics to Micky Green's "Nothing to Prove" suggest a deep connection between the singer and the subject of the song, and the longing for a deeper understanding. The opening line, "I want to give you something you can relate to," suggests a desire to connect on a deeper level with the subject. The next line, "I think you know me better than I do," suggests that the subject has an intuitive understanding of the singer that the singer is not necessarily aware of, which is an interesting twist on the usual dynamic between people.
The repeated line throughout the song, "You don't have anything to prove to me," reinforces the idea that the singer is not looking for anything specific from the subject, but rather is interested in simply deepening the connection between them. The line "Maybe I'll bring something that's not on the menu" suggests that the singer wants to surprise the subject with something unexpected, or perhaps to take a deeper dive into a topic that they have not explored before.
The final verse suggests that the singer believes that if their love is strong enough, it can bring back things that were lost. This line implies that there is a history between the two people, and perhaps suggests that the singer is looking to rekindle a lost connection. Overall, the lyrics suggest a longing for deeper connection and understanding, and a willingness to explore the unknown with the subject.
