Midnight Juggernauts Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
They'll be hiding in the dark of the night
They'll be hiding 'til tomorrow
They'll be hiding 'til the timing is right
It's an answer for the future
It's a question that we left in the past
It's a message for the masses
Ooh, you will give to me
Tomorrow, tomorrow
Tomorrow, tomorrow, today
Ooh, you will give to me
Tomorrow, tomorrow
Tomorrow, tomorrow, today
It's a passing of a legend
It's a passing of an age of pretend
It's a story that we beckon
It's a story and it ain't gonna end
Until now
Ooh, you will give to me
Tomorrow, tomorrow
Tomorrow, tomorrow, today
Ooh, you will give to me
Tomorrow, tomorrow
Tomorrow, tomorrow, today
Ooh, you will give to me
Tomorrow, tomorrow
Tomorrow, tomorrow, today
Ooh, you will give to me
Tomorrow, tomorrow
Tomorrow, tomorrow, today
The Midnight Juggernauts' song "Shadows" describes a scenario in which mysterious entities are hiding in the shadows and darkness, waiting for the right moment to emerge. They will not reveal themselves until the time is right because they are aware that their emergence will cause chaos and upheaval. The lyrics suggest that this is a problem that will not last, and that the answer for the future lies in the past.
The second verse of the song implies that something has come to an end, perhaps a legend or an era of pretending. The message of the song seems to be that change is coming, and that it is both inevitable and necessary. The repeated refrain of "tomorrow, tomorrow, tomorrow, today" reinforces the idea that this change is imminent and cannot be avoided.
Overall, the song creates a sense of anticipation and tension as the listener waits for the hidden entities to reveal themselves and for the changes to take place.
