So Many Frequencies
Midnight Juggernauts Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
So many vacancies, such little space
So many destinies, such little hope
So many enemies, such little rope
So many fireflies, such little light
So many battle cries, such little fight
So many chromosomes, such little heart
Somewhere out there
I'll find my home
Somewhere out there
I'll find my home
So many lotteries, such little breath
So many offerings, such little left
So many mysteries, such little known
So many harvested, such little grown
So many hierarchies, such little height
So many rivalries, such little bite
So many falsies, such little played
So many galaxies, so many, so many
Somewhere out there
I'll find my home
Somewhere out there
I'll find my home
Somewhere out there
I'll find my home
Somewhere out there
I'll find my home
The lyrics of Midnight Juggernauts' song "So Many Frequencies" delve deep into the theme of abundance and scarcity. The song highlights how we are surrounded by so many different things, yet they all seem so limited and inadequate. The first verse speaks of the disparities between the many frequencies we hear and the little bass that accompanies it. The frequencies are aplenty, yet the bass is scarce. This could be a metaphor for how we are bombarded with so much information and noise, but often lack the depth and substance to make sense of it all.
As the song progresses, the chorus brings a more optimistic and hopeful tone. The singer speaks of finding their home "somewhere out there", a place where they belong and are content. This could be a yearning for something more meaningful and deeper than the superficial abundance the world offers.
The second verse continues to explore the idea of too much and too little. The contradictory "so many offerings, such little left" speaks of how we are constantly offered a lot, but with little long-term benefit. The line "so many harvested, such little grown" seems to be a critique of modern society's obsession with productivity and consumption over growth and sustainability.
Overall, "So Many Frequencies" is a thought-provoking song that invites us to consider the nature of abundance and scarcity in our lives. The lyrics are deep and insightful, with a simple yet catchy melody that makes them easy to remember.
