Amor Mio Como estas

Con mis silencio
Sobre tu almohada
Empieza el juego.
En el deseo yo
Y tú en el miedo
Contigo en el amor
Me muero...
Más de un momento
Dormido en la edad
Más de un recuerdo
Despierta a fuerza de amar
Amor mío, ¿cómo estás?
Pocas palabras
Tu mar y mi mar
¿Quién de los dos
La primera vez tembló más?
Amor mío, ¿cómo estás?
Contigo en el amor
Con tu silencio
Con el amanecer
Me muero...
Más de un momento
Dormido en la edad
Más de un recuerdo
Despierta a fuerza de amar
Amor mío, ¿cómo estás?
Pocas palabras
Tu mar y mi mar
¿Quién de los dos
La primera vez tembló más?
Amor mío, ¿cómo estás?
The lyrics of Miguel Bosé's song "Amor Mio Como estas" are about the intense emotions that come with being deeply in love. The song begins with the singer describing the start of a love affair, with him and his partner playing a game where he expresses his desire through his gaze, while she expresses her fear and hesitation through her silence. Despite their differences, the singer is willing to give everything for this love, even if it means losing himself in it. He repeats the phrase "Conmigo en el amor me muero," which means "With you in love, I die." This emphasizes the intensity of his love for his partner and how much he is willing to sacrifice for this relationship.
The chorus of the song then shifts to talking about the past, where the singer describes how he has spent many moments in his life sleeping or not really living, but all of that changes when he falls in love. All of a sudden, his memories come to life and his heart is awakened. He asks his partner, "Amor mío, ¿cómo estás?" meaning "My love, how are you?" in order to check in with her, and goes on to talk about how they share a bond between them just like the sea, and questions which one of them was more afraid when they first fell in love. The song ends on the same note, with the singer reiterating his love for his partner and how much he's willing to give for it.
